diaryConfusion (Mai Yuen's Diary)blog | diary | Hwa Mai Yuen | Paige | Pota | Tristan | VeronicaWoke up from a dreamless sleep, thank god. Or at least I think it was dreamless. I'm not sure since I don't remember the dream, but I did wake up in a cold sweat. Odd that.
I'm starting to find this city awfully confusing. It's like as if every single one of the locals is personally interested in my story. People peer at me funny when I talk to them nowadays.
I took my medication today and regretted it instantly. I felt so sick I could barely get out of the hotel room. Didn't go anywhere today again, but managed to crawl down to the pub across the street and ordered a beer. Tristan was there as was the strange woman with the big mouth that I met at the sushi bar last night. I should get some sightseeing done tomorrow. Worst Day Ever (Mai Yuen's Diary)blog | diary | Hunter | Three Legged DogDidn't go anywhere today. Didn't have the heart to. I was sick.
Once again, the nightmares have proved the better of me. Last night, dreamt of giant hands grabbing me before tearing me into little pieces and setting me on fire. I could feel the skin being set alight, the flaying as it burned off, then my muscle and bone... Woke up screaming in the middle of the night and my legs were so shaky I could barely stand up to get myself a glass of water. Why are my dreams so vivid?
Went back to sleep again, not that I slept well for the rest of the night. Woke up and took my medication with tea. Coffee at the Cafe Nervosa (Mai Yuen's Diary)blog | diary | Hunter | Hwa Mai Yuen | Paige | Siobahn | Stephen | TristanWoke up this morning feeling like rubbish, the reason being that I slept like rubbish. My dreams have been very unpleasant of late and today was no exception.
It was horrible. I was bolted down to some sort of high chair. Bolts going through my arms and legs, piercing the flesh, blood streaming out of me from those wounds. I was horrified, to say the least. Then someone force-feeding me letters out of a book, like dry alphabet soup, until I started choking. But they just kept pouring it in, pouring and pouring until I was suffocating. All the while, my shadow is laughing at me. I woke up screaming in sweaty sheets, trying to push whatever it was away from me. It was like Alice in Wonderland by American McGee. Arrival in Seattle (Mai Yuen's Diary)blog | diary | Hwa Mai Yuen | ic | TristanArrival in Seattle was not much of a hassle. Touched down at the airport at 9 AM and did some napping at the hotel.
It's a nice hotel. Big soft bed, everything you could ask for.
Took a walk down the waterfront in the evening and got lost, as expected. Cruddy bad sense of direction. When looking for directions, met a strange young man by the name of Tristan. Again, those stress induced hallucinations were around. I swear, it hasn't been a better time to visit Seattle, or take a break from work. |
